Benefits For You
You won’t use as much gas or electricity from the grid to generate power for your home – which means lower bills.
Just as importantly, once you’ve covered the initial outlay, your solar PV system actually earns you money by generating your own electricity:
The government’s Feed-in Tariff (FiT) scheme means you get paid 15.44p for every unit (kilowatt hour or Kwh) of electricity you generate.
Any electricity you don’t use is sold back to your utility supplier at a rate of 4.5p per Kwh. Depending on how much electricity you use, you could sell as much of 50% of the electricity you generate back to the utility company.
The FiT scheme is guaranteed to run for 25 years, is index-linked (which means it is linked to inflation) and – best of all – you don’t pay tax on any of your earnings.
It doesn’t even need to be sunny! All you need is daylight and a south-facing roof, along with a little help from the solar panel experts at SolarGro.
But act quickly. The Feed-in Tariff will gradually decrease over the next 20 years – so the sooner you install your solar home PV panel system, the more income you receive.
Benefits
When you install a domestic solar PV panel system, you get a clean and green energy source that doesn’t rely on diminishing fossil fuels.
